I hold a BScH and a PhD from the University of Toronto and a MSc from Queen's University. In 1984, I joined Queen's University and am currently a Professor in the School of Computing and a Visiting Scientist with IBM's Centre for Advanced Studies. I have served as Associate Director of the School of Computing from 2002 to 2007 and Acting Director in 2004.
